Kustom is pleased to announce that it has launched a new print advertising campaign featuring Van Zant, the popular country rock group whose album "Get Right With The Man" has landed songs on Billboard's Top Country Album and Country Songs charts. Van Zant is currently on tour with a backline consisting of Kustom’s acclaimed Coupe Series guitar amplifiers and Groove Bass rigs.
The new ad, which is entitled "Van Zant & Kustom: A Tradition Of Tone" shows brothers Johnny and Donnie Van Zant posing with their Kustom gear before a concert. The ad reads, "With a musical heritage that includes Lynyrd Skynyrd and 38 Special, Johnny and Donnie Van Zant know great tone when they hear it. That’s why Kustom all-tube Coupe amps and stage-shaking Groove Bass rigs form the backline for the new Van Zant tour. Hear for yourself why Southern Rock’s first family chooses Kustom. It's all about the Tone."
"The new Kustom ad will be published in the industry's best-read guitar publications, including Guitar World, Guitar Player and Guitar One magazines," said Mark Hunter, marketing manager for Kustom. "We know that Johnny and Donnie have influenced a lot of players through the years, so we'd like to tell the music community about our relationship with the Van Zant tour."
Van Zant is currently on tour with country artist Gretchen Wilson. Their amplifier backline consists of multiple '72 Coupe guitar amps as well as Groove Bass 1200 heads combined with Groove 410H and 215H speaker cabinets.
